boleyd Posted January 30, 2015 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Thinking about it I wondered if just spreading out the same pixels count I have on my 24" would make sense. I want to sit at the same distance from the monitor as the 24" so text on 27" would just look bigger. Also no additional info could be displayed - just bigger. That reasoning seems to point to the need to get a 4k 27" monitor so I can show "more data/pixels" (data) than my 24". I am guessing that the text size will be similar to what I have on my 24" which is quite adequate. Text is important since I only have one monitor and it must be multi-use.
