MackemSam
Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place. I'm very (very) new to FSX and Orbx products and fear something may have gone wrong somewhere during installation of my Orbx products. I installed (and updated each product before installing the next): FTX GLOBAL BASE PACK - Version 1.10 September 2013 FTX EU ENG England 1.40 - August 2014 FTX EU SCO Scotland 1.20 - August 2014 FTX EU WLS Wales 1.30 - August 2014 FTX EU EGFF CARDIFF INTL V1.10 - MARCH 2013 FTX EU NOR Norway V1.00 December 2014 FTX EU EGPB SUMBURGH AIRPORT 1.10 JUNE 2014 FTX EU EGKA SHOREHAM (BRIGHTON) 1.15 - December 2014 FTX AU BLUE SP3 (TASMANIA SPRING SEASON DEMO) OCT 2009 FTX PNG HOLGERMESH V1.0 FTX PNG AYPY Port Moresby International Airport Version 1.00 July 2014 FTX PI AYEO EMO MISSION VERSION 1.0 FSX Go Version 1.016 January 2010 All going fine up to this point. Then I attempted to install: FTX NA PNW PACIFIC NORTHWEST DEMO V2.00 FTX NA KHQM BOWERMAN AIRPORT VERSION 1.0 This caused FTX Central to stop loading altogether, so I downloaded the PNW Demo Uninstall Tool and uninstalled it, which seemed to fix the problem. Everything now running as it should. I think. Then I installed: FTX Iceland (ON) Demo FTX AA ORBX LIBRARIES VER 141228 28th DECEMBER 2014 Ever since then, whenever I open FTX Central, I get this message three times before Central opens: "Terrain.cfg has no [LandClasses] section." Immediately that Central opens, I then get the following Report: Custom Files Validation Report Custom file does not exist. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts\Custom.na\veg_palm1.dds Custom file does not exist. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts\Custom.na\veg_tropical2.dds I would appreciate any advice on how to fix this...I'm feeling a bit lost, TBH. MackemSam
Hi Holger, Many thanks for your reply, the information is very much appreciated. That error message did raise my heart rate just a little! I'll copy the two files across tomorrow, just so FTX Central stops shouting at me.
