Thinking about getting Acceleration; do I just need to turn FTX mode off during install? I have only just recently done a complete re-install, the Orbx scenery reinstall was pretty much pain-free as I now have the Avalon DVD. John Venema Posted April 3, 2009 Share Posted April 3, 2009 Hmmm, we'd recommend that you install Acceleration before FTX to be honest. Anyway here's what I suggest: 1. FTX Mode [OFF] 2. Delete the entire ORBX folder 3. Install Acceleration, confirm Australia looks default and the autogen/houses are default 4. Install the Avalon DVD 5. Install the other Orbx airports and addons Sorry to cause extra work for you, but it's always best to have a 'clean' Acceleration as your baseline before installing other addons.
