bron3185
Hi, I bought Sekiu in the sale and decided to fly in there from Siletz Bay. At Siletz Bay I hit a crash detect as I was going south down the taxi way, tried again this time going down the runway and got a crash detect at the same point. This happened in the A2A 182 but did no happen using the default Cessna 172 which was strange. I re-installed S45 and the patch but the problem still occurred. I ended up turning crash detect off so I could get to the end of the runway and take off. I have ORBXLIB 140927 installed which I re-installed after re-installing Siletz Bay. Order Number: FSS0184475 Thanks David
wedge1047
Hi David, This was a known problem with Siletz Bay, I`m sure if you search these forums with something like `crash Siletz Bay` you will find the answer. I have Siletz but cannot remember the outcome, was about a year ago I believe. regards Reg.
bron3185
Hi Reg, thanks for the advice. Did a bit more research and it seems it was fixed by a library version released earlier in the year, maybe the latest library release re introduced the problem. Maybe I'll re install an earlier version of the library and see if the problem is fixed.
Vlad Maly
Frankly I wouldn't reinstall older library as the new stuff will be missing then. Better to turn off the crash detection for now. Just my opinion though...
Wolter van der Spoel
NEVER EVER re-install an older version Library file, always run the latest library files and as Vlad pointed out for now disable the crash detection as it is a pita and doesn't concur with reality in any form or way
bron3185
Ok, thanks for the response, I'll leave crash detect off for now. Cheers, David
Alex Goff
Hi David, Are you using the latest triple installer for Siletz Bay? If so could you post where the crash is? I recall there being one trick crash related to the airport beacon that may not have been able to be ironed out...
