Anthin Delahunt
Recently I downloaded the freeware program FSWC latest texture program. I have been using FSWC Lite + Rex and had the most incredible results. Tried the new improved program and disaster. Black water. The guys at Sim Outhouse have been helping me the past few days and I now have either dark blue or brilliant purple. BTW this is for DX10. The question I would like to ask is,If I can uninstall FSWC and then delete the the DX10 shaders and let them rebuild, will I get back the FSX default Textures,as I really want to Install my original. If possible can someone inform me the best way to completely get rid of this new FSWC. I hate it and I am gettin really depressed over it. Please Help if you can. Anthin. spud
Don't know about the 'new' program but I have FSWC 3.15 installed and if I were going to dump it I notice that there is an entry in the Programs and Features of WIN7 (64) Control Panel so I would uninstall the program using the control panel which should clean up the registry at the same time. Anthin Delahunt
This new version is for DX10. Thanks for your answer.
Paul J
When you installed REX, you would have (I assume) made a backup of your textures, Anthin: - simply un-install FSWC, then reinstall the backed-up textures from REX. That should give you default. If you didn't back up those textures, then ask again here - I expect some generous soul will zip up their water textures for you.... All the Best, pj
