Philsflight Posted October 21, 2014 Share Posted October 21, 2014 Hi I recently installed a brand new version of FSX and Acceleration pack. Since I had no other addons installed, etc this seemed like a good time to check out Orbx scenery; and compare Global, etc against ‘regions’. I downloaded and installed the Iceland demo – very nice. Then I downloaded and tried to install the Pacific North West region demo. It installed – but when I tried to run it, it reported ‘Duplicate Land Class index 14’ and FTX central shut down. Eventually I uninstalled both demos and re-installed the PNW one. This time everything worked fine. Again the scenery was great – vast improvement over default FSX. But I’m obviously a bit concerned about buying Global/Vector etc (approx. £100 in the UK), and then trying to add in a region and finding it doesn’t work. Am I doing something wrong in the install?
