RESOLVED FTX Wales black objects in landscape

Running FSX . loaded FTX wales today plus the three patches and finally library update. Now I am getting black shapes on the landscape near houses etc. I have photos but can not work out how to attach them to this document using this system.

 

Any ideas as to what is causing the black shapes and how do I get rid of them

From your description it sounds though that you're running DX10 preview mode. Since our custom 3D lights are incompatible with DX10 preview you need to either use Steve's payware DX10 fixer --  http://forum.avsim.net/forum/644-the-official-dx10-scenery-fixer-support-forum/ -- or his freeware shaders: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/81309-ftx-global-lights-topic-on-steves-blog/

 

 

If that's not the issue then please post a screenhot with location information.

Thanks Holger for your prompt reply. You were on the button. Did what you said and it is sorted. Really impressed with wales so much so have bought England as well today. Cardiff airport EGFF and surrounding area is spot on . I live within 300 yards of the airport and fly out of the airport regularly in Warrior PA 28s as my flying club is based there. Approach and take off is uncannily  like reality. Perfect. Thanks again
