ANSWERED Operate the hybrid switch

Newbie to Global, I am not sure that my poor mind understand how to operate the hybrid switch (after RTM  ).

 

Example :   Flying from Reno NV which is in Global to Sth Tahoe which is in NCA, do I select Global and tick hybrid or do I select NCA and tick hybrid, to benefit both sets of textures ?

First of all how would you select NCA?  The selection in FTX Central is North America not NCA.

To answer your question flying from Reno to Lake Tahoe, IE: from a non-ORBX region to an ORBEX region you would set FTX Central to Global/Hybrid mode.  Flying in the other directions would also require setting FTX Central to Global/Hybrid mode.

 

Now, as an example if your were to fly from Tahoe to Seattle; two different ORBX regions, you would set FTX Central to North America because your flying only in ORBX regions which are within the North America area.

 

FWIW unless your a ORBX region only type of pilot FTX Central set to Global/Hybrid will be used probably 90% of your flying
