Harrydarton
Hi I have just installed Cairns, after a re-install of FSX. The files I used were Ftx-Au-YBCS.100.zip followed by Ftx-YBCS.101.Patch, so far so good, but, My question is. An update I found dated 2011. reference Ftx-Au-YBCS.110.zip. Is this really an update for the original files, or a 'brand new' complete install in its own right? ie, delete the old files and install the 110.zip Thanks in anticipation. Jarrad Marshall
G'day Harry, I presume you are installing from zips downloaded a while ago? If so, the easiest way to check is just to compare file sizes between your YBCS 100 and 110 zip files - if 110 is smaller then it will only be the patch and will need version 100 to be installed prior. Alternatively, if you go to your Flightsimstore account, you can re-download the full up-to-date installer (YBCS 1.1 full version) in one go. Let me know if you have any other questions Cheers, Jarrad
Harrydarton
Hi Jarrad, Thanks for your quick reply, which has solved my problem. I compared the 3 files as suggested which are YBCS.100.zip--(1.6Gb) YBCS Patch--(0.5Gb) YBCS. 110.zip--(1.19Gb) Therefore I am assuming that the 110.file is a patch. So, I installed the 110 file and it up-dated the airport and the PDF document in FTX central. Thanks again for your help. PS I had already downloaded the 110 file from FSStore, believing it to be a full instalation file, and not a Patch, and as I had not already installed the 101file and its patch, 101 would not work Regards HD
