Dazkent
Hello Due to an issue I had with cloud textures I am currently in the process of reinstalling FSX, I have a few aircraft that I am reinstalling and then my mind will turn to scenery. I have quiet a few uk2000 airports and also have purchased quite a few of the FTX regions, at the moment I have just reinstalled global but I was wondering if having all the regions installed slows down FSX? or does the sim only load the region you have selected in FTX Central. Kind regards Darran
windquest
The short answer is No, you won't notice any slow down. I would suggest doing some research on the forum about Base, Vector and Mesh. Just remember that each region contains everything you need...in other words if you only fly n ORBX regions, then the only addition needed are the airports that are released for that region (and that isn't required, just an improvement!) Now might be a good time to consider the advantages of P3D, version 2.3 is really a game changer. Good luck, Henry
