Bill Diamond
Folks, Fresh install of FSX and both FTX Global Vector and PNW. When I got to launch FTX Central, right upon startup I get the following error: Further, if I click on either FTX Global or North America within FTX Global, I then get this error message: Any ideas on why and how to fix? I'm grateful for any advice and assistance! Thanks!!
bdrichmond
Greetings Bill, Not sure what caused this, but the first thing the gurus always ask is 1) is everything patched and up to date and 2) have you installed the latest libraries for your particular sim. (The libraries are not triple installers). Hope this gives you a starting place until a developer jumps online. Respectfully, Brian
Bill Diamond
Thanks... Not sure what I did, but it appears to be working fine now!
Holger Sandmann
Hi Bill, when you installed FSX did you remember to update to its SP2 level, or else install the Acceleration expansion kit? Cheers, Holger
Bill Diamond
Thanks Holger, it appears to be working fine now. However I just patched Global Base, Vector and PNW, and the I've got floating scenery at KSEA, and an error message when I close FSX that it has stopped working. (Not sure how critical that is, considering I ended the sim anyway) Oh, and running FSX Gold with Acceleration. Cheers!
