John Dow Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 For those of you who don't have a dedicated bush flying plane but would like to try the new PNG package, attached is a replacement aircraft.cfg file for the default FSX C172 with enough power to get you practising the bush strips. It has enough power to get the aircraft moving on the steep sections of the strips and plenty to get you airborne once you've landed. Probably resembles a Hawk XP with a 210hp conversion kit (without the constant speed prop of course). Instructions: Drop both the files in the attached zip into your SimObjects\Airplanes\C172 folder, replacing the current file. To return to the default C172 file just delete the aircraft.cfg file and rename the aircraft - Copy.cfg back to aircraft.cfg. Note this is not intended to be a realistic conversion, just a way for anyone who doesn't have a suitable add-on aircraft to get some practice in the PNG bush strips.
