RESOLVED Fatal error

I have just downloaded ORBX Scotland but when trying to intall it I get the following message: "Fatal error: Central Dir signature not found."

I have not experienced this before.

Any suggestions.

I downloaded twice , from a different server, with the same result.

Hi Jim,

 

287450 is the correct number.

 

That message you are receiving is from a corrupt zip, most likely from failed download. It is recommended that a download manager is used to ensure a good download. Also when re-downloading, ensure any remnants of the corrupt zip is deleted.

Thanks for your response.

I followed your advice but still got the same result.

However when I downloaded the next time I sent to desktop.

I then changed from CAM unzip to windows explorer and it worked perfectly.

All I need to do now is fly to Shetland and see what my birthplace looks like on Orbx.
