PFS
It seems like almost every airport in Colorado has elevation issues for me. Has anyone else experienced this? Aspen... Denver... Centennial... etc. I deleted any add-on Colorado scenery (MegaSceneryEarth), as well as any other products that would/could generally interfere with airport elevations. I have the latest Vector version, as well as the FS Global Ultimate series. ~Paul
StefanSchaefer
Hello! What exactly is an "elevation issue" please? Are elevations wrong (*all* edges of a specific airport polygon are risen or sunk more than about 10m) or do you experience the "flat airport" problem (*some* edges of a specific airport polygon are risen and *some* of the same airport polygon are sunk)?Screenshots would be good as well. Pete Wilcox
Denver Intl. is the only CO airport I have noticed that appears sunken. Other than that I haven't really checked exact altitudes down to the foot.
PFS
Hi Stefan, Tonight I picked 10 random airports in Colorado to visit, and all have various elevation issues. Around Aspen (KASE) there's also a short spike and an elevated pond. The photos below are from the following airports: KASE - Aspen KLXV - Lake Co 7V1 - Central CO Regl 0V2 - Alexander 2CO2 - Cmrs Airdrome 00V - Meadow Lake KAPA - Centennial KBKF - Buckley AFB KFTG - Front Range KDEN - Denver -Paul
StefanSchaefer
Thank you!The pike is a bug and will be fixed in V1.20.The Airports: the first three pics I need to check. Can you please name the ICAOs for those as pics do not seem to be in sequence as listed above. The ones below seem to be the flat airport concept problem I discribe above, which is normal at this stage of development. We have in several post already confirmed, we will have AFM2 and rework apt polygons to reduce these problems. All at a time.
