FTX Vector Replaces UTX?

Hello

I just want to be sure!  FTX Vector is a replacement for UTX is that correct?  I had both and had issues. When I disabled UTX it fixed/cleared everything up.  I also have Global and Vector and multiple regions.  I looked it up in the Vector PDF FAQ (or something like that) that it said Vector is a replacement for UTX.  Just checking.

Also,  somewhere in the forums here I saw a really good example of a "Scenery Library" with all the Orbx products and how they should be prioritized.  That was sometime ago and I can't find it anymore.   I think Vector should be just below the regions if I'm not mistaken. For some reason my library has Vector at the bottom below almost everything.  Can someone kindly steer me in the right direction to find a good explanation of how Orbx products (and other 3rd party airport sceneries like Fly Tampa, FSDT etc..) should be prioritized in my scenery library?  Thanks

I just went through installing Vector and then discovering a lot of compatibility issues directly related to UT. I ended up removing UT and all the problems disappeared.

As far as I can tell, it does indeed replace UT. The manual suggests you might keep the UT Landclass in place and disable all else. My experience was different and it was leaving the Landclass in place that caused many elevation errors. Removing all of UT solved the problem. Far as I can tell so far, Vector looks spectacular pretty much everywhere.

The short answer, Yes. Vector replaces UTX.

They're both providing the same data (Vector data) so with two sets of vector data running at the same time, it's quite possible that you will get conflicts.

That being said however, UTX also has some limited Landclass data included, so you may be missing that... But if it fixes your issues, then I guess you're not missing it at all ;)
