John Venema
Matt recently spent a hot dusty weekend in the Grampians (Garawed National Park) in central west Victoria. He took hundreds of photos, on which these new rock textures are based. To say they capture the look and feel of the area is an understatement. Enjoy! maxter
Very nice indeed Koorbs, I can think of a couple of places in the SW of WA we can use those. Chris
mstyles
Very very nice! Can FSX use bump maps on textures? I don't think it can but if it could those rocky slopes would look very 3D and just amazing, especially with the changing light cast shadows. Maybe with FS11? Just imagine it, 3D rocks, gravel, cracks and groves in runways, etc. Do you have "sandstone" textures too? There's lot of that around the Sydney basin and Blue mountains. It looks similar to those textures but maybe a little more yellow (ie sandy). Can't wait to see the new trees too! More photos please.... I need my FTX fix at least 3 times a day

SMan
Beautiful stuff. I flew into a private strip there a few years ago, it was just west of the ranges there. I don't recall the name, but there were a few huts along the apron and one big building where we'd gather for meals and games at the end onf the day.
