mazelda
Hi guys Sorry about this but in the manual for ftx global base under the quick reference settings it mentions FTXG Texture resolution set at Max, Now for the dumb question! Where do I find this setting ? It does not appear in FTX central and I can't find a specific entry in FSX so I have no idea what mine is currently set at many thanks rgds
NoLonger
FSX > Settings > Display > Texture resolution. Underneath Mesh resolution and above Water effects. Pull the slider all the way to the right.
mazelda
Cheers The only problem is that further down on the quick reference it mentions that texture resolution set at 7cm which if I understand correctly is the same entry that you suggest. I must admit that it makes sense that it is here that should be changed as global is a texture replacement, but why would it specifically mention both entries if they were not for different things? page 17 item 2 and 5 in the ftx global manual rgds
jrrbolkin
I think it refers to the first page on FSX settings-display,there is a slider there for Global Texture Resolution. Have a look. Gary
mazelda
Thanks Gary Found the slider you mentioned Could one of the admins please change the best answer to the one Gary advised as this is the one that to me is the best one as the other answer currently seems to be for a different settings option in the manual many thanks Pete
