RickSinGA Posted February 15, 2014 Share Posted February 15, 2014 I have somehow screwed up FTX. I have lost most all highways and rivers in non FTX areas? I must have changed something somewhere but the only thing I remember actually messing with at all was the UTX setup tool and FSGlobal Control panel. I have no idea what I have done? My goal was to try to reduce my OOM's which I have now in FTX areas. I used to be able to run LOD_RADIUS at 9.5 but can't get to 7.5 anymore without OOM's Any ideas on how to straighten this out? However, I see you also have Vector listed so I'd check first whether it's configured correctly as per its manual, especially scenery library positions. Cheers, Holger Not sure where, exactly, they should be but VECTOR is placed just before the first fsx base Scenery, 1107 Base and VECTOR_AEC is third from the last entry. All I see in the manual is not to mess with the placement. And I see a FTXConfigurator v8.0 application, but it does not seem to open anything? Thanks Rick S. I hope I do not have to redo FSX, took me a month the last time.I have attached my current FTX listing & I have already removed the Iceland demo, thinking that might have been it. I would have attached my Scenery.cfg file, but I have no idea how to go about that.Any recommendations on the correct order to uninstall and reinstall? Things to watch out for? RickSinGA Posted February 16, 2014 Author Share Posted February 16, 2014 Thank you Holger, In this Pic I am flying due west coming up on Downtown South Bend, IN. Forward and off the left wingtip should be 2 major US highways converging on downtown. Off the left wingtip continuing around the west side of town you should see a bypass around SB and US31 going south towards Indy. On the right hand side you should be seeing the IN turnpike (I-80) going east and west. There is a river that should be wandering from the north thru downtown SB and another highway going due west past towards Chicago. I also don't see any of the major highways in and around the city.
