BeaverDriver
Good Day, I just installed the latest Library for FSX, and was doing a flight from CYYJ (Victoria, B.C.) to CYPW (Powell River, B.C.) and noticed some rather different looking textures enroute. I believe these are clear cut areas, but they look very sandy. Date is current and time is midday. Please see the screenshot below. Are these correct, and if so, could you please tell me what this is supposed to represent? Many thanks.
anfield ace
Hi, As you suggested, I think they may be cleared woodland areas? agreed they do look a bit "sandy coloured". Cheers.
Holger Sandmann
Hi Glenn, those are default textures meaning something's amiss with your PNW installation/configuration. First thing to do is to cycle FTX Central once to Default\Global and back to North America. Cheers, Holger
BeaverDriver
Thanks Holger. FTX Central is set to Global Hybrid now, so what I'll do is cycle to NA and then back again and see if that helps. Appreciate the help . Glenn
BeaverDriver
OK, found it. It was (typically) "finger trouble in the cockpit" on my end. I have some 3rd party LC for Western Canada and in the process of doing a bit of "house cleaning" I accidentally layered it above Orbx regions. As soon as I dropped it below, all returned to normal. Thanks again Holger, Mal. Appreciate it . Glenn
