Hi

After installing FTX Global Base I have the problem that some trees and bushes apear in black (see Picture).

I have not installed any other addons. Only FS Global 2010 Meshes.

I use Win8.1 and Asus Geforce gtx 760.

Direct x 10 Preview is activated.

The picture is from LSZH (Zürich)

Even though I can only see a picture of a block of cheese and a no entry sign,

I can tell you that the black trees are in fact lights.

You will not see them displayed correctly unless you either revert to Dx9 or you

purchase and install Steve's Dx10 Fixer which you can find for sale at the

FlightSim Store. http://www.flightsimstore.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=250&osCsid=hljf40m71dt46p4k80mekkcko1

Here are two shots of a random scene at one of Warsaw's airports in Poland.

The airport is a free demo of a commercially available addon.

The scenery in the background is FTX Global.

The aircraft is adapted for FSX but is an Fs9 model.

All of these work perfectly well in FSX Dx9.

Please confirm that the black squares in the background scenery are exactly what you see.

Now, shot one, Dx10 preview ticked but the Dx10 Fixer temporarily uninstalled.

You will see that there are problems with the airport, the aircraft and the FTX Global scenery.

Now, with the Fixer re-installed

Thanks.

For me, there are many advantages in Dx10 which I did not wish to give up and

as you see in my pictures, it fixes much more than just the black squares in FTX Global.

It must be your decision though, it costs nothing to revert to Dx9.

By the way, you should add your order number to your signature.

I should have asked you to do this first.
