Bugdani
hi, Is there a way to dim down the blue taxyway lighting in Bozeman? It seems very very (too) bright and unreal. Maybe another set of lighter textures? Bug.
Jarrad Marshall
G'day Bug, No worries at all - these are always quite subjective, and I did make them a bit brighter compared to Broome and Jackson Hole based on customer feedback. I've done up some quick mods for you - these will give you different sizes to try out. Just replace the appropriate file in your Flight Simulator X/effects folder - be sure to back up the originals. Given these are unique to Bozeman, they won't effect any other airports. Cheers, Jarrad KBZN FX for Bug.zip
wulfbindewald
Thanks, Jarrad. I have given this a try too and it is very helpfull to play with light intensity variants. Besides I found mayor differences between DX9 and DX10, so to find the "right light" will remain an individual choice in any case. Why not to implement this into the ORBX KBZN adjustment panel? wulfbindewald
For those who might have difficulties to select the "right" taxiway and runway light brightness in KBZN: If you like e.g. FTX PAKT runway lights, then the blue taxiway lights at 25% and the white runway lights at 50% might be the right one. Bugdani
A thousand of Thank you !!!!! Sorry for this late answer but I've had a very busy W-E. 25% for TWY and 85% for RWY are the best for me! I'm in DX10 and can't remember what it was in DX9. Anyway: Merci mille fois pour ta gentillesse Dani.
