NA Blue Southern Alaska installed but not in scenery library

Recommended Posts

I have installed the NA Blue Southern Alaska scenery and followed the FTX Central guide but it is not in the scenery library when I open FSX.  I did the FTX scenery library insertion points but still the scenery is not in the library.  Can I manually add it but don't know what order they go to.  This is my first FTX purchase.

Hi mike

here's my section of the SAK scenery.cfg

Title=FTX_NA_SAK08_CUSTOM
Local=G:\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_SAK08_CUSTOM
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE
Layer=139
[Area.138]
Title=FTX_NA_SAK07_MESH
Local=G:\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_SAK07_MESH
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE
Layer=140
[Area.139]
Title=FTX_NA_SAK06_CVX
Local=G:\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_SAK06_CVX
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE
Layer=141
[Area.140]
Title=FTX_NA_SAK05_SCENERY
Local=G:\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_SAK05_SCENERY

if you use the Add scenery in the scenery library.find where it's installed and ADD in this order

Custom

Mesh

Cvx

Scenery

so that when you look in the scenery library it looks like this..

Scenery

CVX

Mesh

Custom

any problems let me know

Hi Mike,

please check that you have a "scenerylib_NA_SAK.cfg" file in {FSX}\ORBX\Scripts. It contains the code for the four SAK scenery library entries that are added by FTX Central. If the file is missing then you may have an incomplete installation of SAK and may want to try re-installing it.

Cheers, Holger
