AviatorMan
Just a quick question. There seem to be hundreds of striking contemporary buildings around Dublin, especially near the two airports. Acre after acre of the same design building. Is this really the way the Dublin area looks? Installed the same scenery in FSX and looks quite different - the hundreds of contemporary buildings are not there. Have I installed incorrectly? AviatorMan
Paul I have installed FTX Ireland in both P3Dv2 and FSX, pointed to the appropriate folders on my system. Here two screenshots in P3Dv2 just after takeoff from Rwy 16 at Dublin Intl. and here the same view in FSX:
Paul Webster
Hi, That looks like a bad install there, re run the installer over the top and check again as you seem to be missing the texture sheets, also check FTX Central is set to Europe. AviatorMan
Hi Thanks for the quick response, have re-installed in P3Dv2 over the existing installation, made sure FTX Central P3Dv2 is set to Europe, and unfortunately the problem is still there. Basically there is no change in the appearance of the scenery and the "contemporary buildings" are still there.

AviatorMan
Hi Friedi Just installed libs 131027 into P3D, which I assume is the latest. Doesn't help.
Friedi Gulder
Hi Mike This is annoying. My trees also had no textures, but after reinstalling the libraries they were visible again.

AviatorMan
Thanks, was able to solve the problem. After some trial and error, finally changed TEXTURE RESOLUTION setting on the GRAPHICS page (not the SCENERY page) solved the problem. It was set at MEDIUM, changed it to ULTRA - this fixed it. Then while still in the flight, was able to go back to SETTINGS and set this parameter to lower settings - and it still worked. Don't know if this is the way it should be, but finally solved the problem.
