Ray McCalla
Here's some "low and slow" in Prepar3Dv2 over SAK... [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qTh-58bfvU The flight begins entering the Valdez Arm from Prince William Sound, passes by the Alaska Pipeline Terminal and the town of Valdez, then follows the route of the Pipeline itself along the Lowe River up into the Chugach Mountains. Climbing up through the saddle of Thompson Pass, the flight continues to follow the pipeline through mountain valleys along the Tiekel and Tonsina Rivers, then out into the wide plains along the Copper River to the town of Glennnallen and Gulkana airport. Weather is a default theme and textures... I am waiting for one of the "next-gen" weather/texture platforms to arrive. My computer is pretty mid-range nowadays, so I have to keep P3Dv2's graphics settings mid-range, too. Somewhere along the conversion or import process, the image quality seemes to have softened up some, too... I'll have to look into that.
