Thomas Andersen
I just downloaded FTX global 1.1 version from Flightsimstore, to install it to Prepar3d v2. Unfortunately when the installer is unwrapping the files I am getting the following error message: Extract: Error writing to file ORBXFTXGlobal11.exe I have tried downloading the file 2 times, but still get the same error message. Please help me Thomas
John Venema
It looks like a corrupt download. 1. Clear your internet browser cache for all browsers you have installed 2. Download a DL Manager like GetRight - http://getright.com/get.html 3. Using getright, download the ZIP to your desktop (once the download begin, select Options and choose "Segemented Download" and select four segment, this will more than double your download speed 4. Extract the ZIP into its own new folder 5. Run the installer from there
Bruce Hamilton
Might also want to consider using something like WinZip or 7-Zip for extracting, the Windows extractor occasionally messes up large files.
docjp
I am experiencing the same problem. The problem however is not a corrupt download! Global wants to unwrap into < username\AppData\Local\Temp>, which in my case (and probably in everybody else's case as well) happens to be on the C drive, where we also find Windows. Unfortunately I have only 5GB left on this (SSD-)drive, with no possibility to free up more space. My FSX + all my other goodies are on a different drive with lots and lots of free space... So now what? Jan Peter van Kempen (desperate)

joe90ok
I have 267GB free space on my D drive where all my flight sim installations are located but only 4.34 GB available on my 111GB SSD C drive where my operating system is installed. I have the same issue as above so need some advice?
