YBBN, Aircraft Lighting at Night

Basically the AI aircraft and your aircraft are objects that move (simobjects?) and are considered the same type of object. If you have Orbx AU AI aircraft, you will see that their default folder location is the same folder as the pilotable aircraft in your collection. Static aircraft are considered non movable scenery and thus their texture can be varied depending on the time of day (appearing lit under the apron lights). Thus, your aircraft will be dark.

As for the building roof, it is also a scenery object and its texture can be varied depending on the time of day. The domestic terminal roof is curved. The roof on the apron side will be lit by the apron lights (the designer sets texture lighting). The roof on the car park side will not be lit and thus appear dark, as shown in the overhead screen capture.

Hmmm ... Ok, as the roof, thank you. I appreciate your explanations.

Cheers.
