Dooga
Hi, today I tried installing the PNW demo v2, unfortunately I didn't think to switch FTX Central away from FTX global before I did the installation. When I try to run FTX Central after the PNW demo install, I get an error message "Duplicate landclass index 14". I then installed the PNW demo using the provided installer, which apparently went fine, but: - afterwards, I have two FTX Global entries in the FTX Central configurator, plus a North America entry and the KHQM config panel - when I switch to any of the two FTX Globals and then start FSX, now the textures are broken completely: At Borkum (Germany) after zooming out and in again: Please help me fix this, I was enjoying FSX so much for the recent weeks! Dooga
I've reinstalled FTX global, which got FTX central settings back to what they were before, but the texture issue is still unresolved. Any ideas?
Dooga
Ok - I've reverted to an old (original) terrain.cfg, then reinstalled FTX Global and the Iceland demo. So far this helped - Borkum looks like it's supposed to, again, also the other quick spot checks I just did. Does anyone know whether UTX makes modifications to the terrain.cfg? Do airport scenery installers (like Aerosoft EDDS) do that normally?
John Venema
Usually installing the latest Orbxlibs (http://fullterrain.com/support.html#orbxlibs) re-syncs FTX Central. That's because the PNW demo was released years ago, before FTX Global's mods, so you always need to install the Orbxlibs last to re-sync the control files. Anyway it appears you have this sorted out now
