BradB
I have been doing a clean reinstall of FSX and all the Orbx sceneries . I started with AUSP04 and after it finished , FTX Central came up and I selected the Oz icon of course . Then closed central and tried to start aero . I keep getting this error message : Access to the path C:\FSX\Texture\taxiway-marks.dds is denied . Brad
Wolter van der Spoel
Hi Brad, this has to do with reading permission, some Windows quirck that acts up occasionally there are two options: one is to rightclick your main FSX folder and under properties untick the read only checkmark and hit apply it will then dow some stuff wait till it's finished and try again second remedy have a read here : take ownership http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753659.aspx

BradB
Hi Wolter I found this file in my C/FSX/Texture folder . For the heck of it , I took it out of FSX and put it in a temp file for keeping . Aero still was giving me the same error message as before : Access to the path C:\FSX\Texture\taxiway_marks.dds is denied . Brad
