pablo_gsxr750
Hello, Please help or advise why my Aus SP4 scenery looks like this i.e. blocks or squares rather than blended. I've looked at numerous screenshots such as... posting - ymml departure to yscb, yscb departure back to ymml pics not in order ...and my shots don't come anywhere near to them. Any help or advice would be appreciated thanks. The only add-on I have is FSGX2010 and for information I did try Holgermesh and this achieved no difference either. pablo_gsxr750
Further information - I've just got FSX to create a new fsx.cfg from scratch and flew the same area with no tweaks and I still get the defined edges between snow and green landmass. Is it just me being stupid or is this normal in FSX? Thanks.
Holger Sandmann
Hi Pablo, it looks like the custom ground texture blendmasks got corrupted somehow. Are you using Addon Converter X? If so see http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/57316-sak-texture-problem/?hl=pavd Cheers, Holger
pablo_gsxr750
Hello Holger, Thank you so much for your reply and the link which I'll read after sending you this reply. The wierd thing is, I did try using addin converter x (which I only purchased last week) to test out FSX in DX10 compared to DX9 and overnight I too was thinking I'd try and clear its cache uncheck orbx scenery etc and try again. I'll let you know the outcome very soon. Cheers Pablo
