Two trips to Anchorage after sunset but still in the gloaming - the first from Magadan, in eastern Russia, in an SU27 and the latest from Soldotna, AK to Anchorage in a 152. On neither trip could I spot Anchorage by the city lights. My first clue, other than the needles pointing right, were the airport runway flashers and beacons. In addition to Global, I have SAK and my stuff is up to date. Back when I lived there, Anchorage was the only place in the state with that many lights. What have I not done?
