Derp Derpington Posted September 7, 2013 Share Posted September 7, 2013 Hi, I've purchased FTX AU Blue as well as Melbourne Airport already a couple of months ago but haven't used it so far because I'm too frustrated. I've installed the sceneries only to find that the textures are horrible and not like the ones on the screenshots at all. The runways and airport buildings are okay, but it's the taxiways and aprons at Melbourne as well as the entire area that is covered - or should be covered - by FTX AU Blue that keep giving me headaches whenever I look at them. I've been searching for possible solutions on this forum for quite some time now but every attempt to fix this issue has failed. I was told to install AU SP4.002 as well as the latest ORBXLIBS. This has at least improved the scenery by some trees and houses around the airport. However, it still does not look like it should. Have you set the FSX Display settings in accordance with the manual's recommendations? Something is keeping the resolution low, either FSX or your Graphics Card's Control Panel. Derp Derpington Posted September 11, 2013 Author Share Posted September 11, 2013 The textures of the apron now appear to be a bit sharper and it's enough for me to actually use the airport. However, the airport ground textures and the area surrounding the airport still look somewhat blurry. I've set everything according to the manual...
