Matt McGee
I'd just like to report some taxiway signs that are on the taxiway and way out in the grass at KLWS. KLWS might be a good future Orbx airport in CRM. A nice flight from either KSFF or 65S. It is also half way between Seattle and KWYS (or the upcoming KBZN). KLWS is a small regional airport, serviced by Horizon Air and Sky West Airlines. Immediately to the west of the airport the terrain drops off dramatically down to the Snake River and Hell's Gate Park (the gate way to Hell's Canyon). KLWS is also one of the few airports in northern Idaho that have instrument approaches.
Matt McGee
Since my KLWS taxiway signs are still messed up after the CRM 002 patch, would someone confirm if this is a know error, yet to be fixed? Or is it only my KLWS? (I posted almost three weeks before the CRM patch was released.) I saw another post about incorrect taxiway signs that directed the poster to check conflicting airport scenery. I do not have any other scenery products. A search for "KLWS" on my computer yielded three files in the ORBX folder. John Venema
I'll bring this to Neil Hill's attention, thanks for the heads up.
Neil Hill
Hi h3pilot, I agree, the taxiway signs at KLWS were messed up and I apologize for not noticing this before. I've fixed them and will pass the files onto Holger for the next SP. Cheers, Neil
Matt McGee
Thanks JV and Neil. It's somehow comforting to know it's an actual CRM error and not some crazy error that only I have. I can patiently wait for next update. Thanks again, Matt
