Ryanm
G'Day all Couldn't find a post relating to this anywhere. It seems that half the VA fleet in FSX still use "Virgin" as their callsign while the rest have been changed to "Velocity". I've got the latest version of Edit Voice Pack but it doesn't seem to contain the "Velocity" callsign. Or am I missing something? It actually took me a while to work out which aircraft where being called by a number only rather than callsign.
capt sl
are the entries in aircraft.cfg for those airlines atc_airline=Velocity in editvoice pack u need to make a new modification under telephony designators and assign velocity to the voices. fortunately the word velocity is already there so just need to be assigned to the voices and saved
Ryanm
Yeah they have "Velocity" as their callsign. I'll attack the file and see if I can make it work. Thanks mate.
Graham Eccleston
I'm planning to add an updated FSX sound file with the next FTX AI traffic package and this will include lots of airport names, aircraft types and airline call signs currently not in the FSX default sound file. "Velocity" is included. This update should be ready for release by the latter half of September or early October.
Dave_YVR
AIG often releases updates for Editvoicepak and has done Velocity some time ago. Can get it here http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=173130
