PLEASE NOTE: Before installing this product you must have the Microsoft
.NET Framework v4.0 installed and if you have other Orbx FTX regions
installed you should set FTX Central to default.

Extract all files to a temporary folder and run the executable to begin
the installation process.

Extract all files to a temporary folder and run the executable to begin
the installation process.

Means that you should UNZIP the big file and if you can read the ReadMe file as you have done then the files must be un-zipped. Just right click the .exe file and run it as administrator at it will be fine. Do NOT try to do anything (extract) the 9 files in the library they are used by the .exe file "as is". Good Luck.

I might be a little bit stupid but WHAT did you extract? If it was the .zip file and got an error, the only thing you can do is redownload it again. Yes I know you have done that from several different servers, no other solution if the zip file is corrupt. But how did you read the Read Me file and saw the 9 parts if the .zip file did not extract correctly?

Made a test yesterday.

Downloaded the .zip file (4,17 GB) from FSS Cloud server without problems.

Unzipped the file, without problems.

Run the .exe file, without problems.

FTXGlobal Reinstalled without problems.

If you still have the problem it must be somewhere on your side, the .zip file is OK and so are the unzipped friles.

Hi David,

Looks like the installer is trying to find your terrain.cfg on your desktop, could you please double check that the registry path for fsX is correct, just to try and make things not to complicated.

Also could you kindly add the details for the error just click the details button on the error pane and mause over to highlight the text you can than copy and past it here to your post.

Hi David,

the installer searches for the registry entry of fsX, if you moved your fsX main folder from that location the installer will still install the files to the location indicated by the registry

this one works for that to double check if your registry entry is correct, if not you can repair it with this little tool => http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library
