Is FTXG Hybrid able to change this?

Hello!

From all the reading and prior questions, I should be able to answer this question, but I'm currently having one of my dumb moments  All that is left to do is to swallow my pride and ask away.

Here is a terrain problem I'm having with FTX regions.

First the vanilla FSX version of KSKA (note that there are no buildings on the left side of the runway):

Then with FTX North America applied (note the added buildings):

And then KSKA with FTX Europe applied:

Please note how the ground is sunken between the runway and taxiways, but the buildings are still there.

Here are the products that I have installed at the moment:

FSX Go Version 1.0 December 2009
FTX AA ORBX LIBRARIES VER 130301 1st March 2013
FTX EU EGFF CARDIFF INTL V1.10 - MARCH 2013
FTX EU ENG England v1.00 Patch 002 - March 2013
FTX EU WLS Wales v1.00 Patch 001 - March 2013
FTX NA CRM Central Rocky Mountains V1.00 Patch 001 November 2012

FTX NA NRM Northern Rocky Mountains V1.00 PATCH 002 November 2012
FTX NA PFJ Pacific Fjords V1.0 Patch 003 November 2012

FTX NA PNW PACIFIC NORTHWEST V1.0 PATCH 005 March 27th 2012

FTX US KJAC Jackson Hole AIRPORT VERSION 1.0 MAY 2012

Now the the question I'm a bit hesitant to ask. Would having FTX Global installed and running in Hybrid mode, fix the sunken ground?

Thank you for your help and patience!

Regards,

Jarkko

Hi Jarkko,

that's correct, with FTXGlobal in hybrid mode we've changed the logic regarding the airport elevation adjustment files that come with FTX regions meaning they will remain active so that intercontinental flights don't lead to the situation you've shown.

Cheers, Holger
