I noticed a couple of things that disappeared from basic FSX 1 - While flying over the coast line there were waves we could see from above... not longer in FTX 2 - there were areas where there was a beach or sand now it looks like we have the city going to the edge of the water/ocean losing some of the realistic view is there a way to fix this? Holger Sandmann Posted July 30, 2013 Share Posted July 30, 2013 Hi Jack, welcome to Orbx! FTX Global doesn't alter the shoreline vectors to which those surf effects are attached. Assuming you haven't changed the visual effects settings in your FSX display menu I'm not sure what would have removed them. Keep in mind that all visual effects in FSX are at the bottom of the rendering priority meaning if the sim is busy with other tasks, like loading textures or objects, then those effects may temporarily drop out. As for the missing beaches can you post a couple of screenshots of specific areas please?
