Slick9 Posted June 28, 2013 Share Posted June 28, 2013 hi all - i just started flying helos in FSX and i am looking for some fire towers to visit in the PNW area, so i installed Google Earth and per some instructions i found i dragged the PNW KMZ file into Google Earth. The lsit of airports, POIs, Fire Towers etc. shows up on the left panel, and I can drill down to a particular fire tower and double click on it and Google Earth will fly me to the location. I cannot figure for the life of me how to get the icons for all the fire towers to show up on the 3D earth view. I have Temporary Places checked, FTX PNW NA BLUE checked, Fire Tower and Helipads and the individual Fire towers checked but i don't see anything on the earth. If i check the box for PNW coverage area i do see the blue boundry line, but i can't get airports, vor, fire towers or anything else to show up. Thnx for any help or ideas...
