The FTX AI traffic pack uses FSX traffic files and FSX cannot use both FS9 and FSX compiled traffic files together. When FSX finds both FX9 traffic files as well as FSX ones, it will suppress all the FSX ones in favour of the FS9 ones. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
spud Posted June 26, 2013 Share Posted June 26, 2013 Hmmm, even if you have FS9 AI files in your FSX that AI should work so if you have no AI traffic at all then it may be another problem. Your post says "DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED FREEWARE GA AI TRAFFIC" (no caps (shouting) in posts please). Was the AI traffic you downloaded the ORBX freeware file or someone other developers work? There is a program by Don Grovestine named AI Flight Planner that can be used to find and change any FS9 AI files in your sim to FSX compatible files and then all the AI (both FSX and FS9) will work as they should.
