ACTIVE Terrain.cfg path denied when installing PNW Demo

Hi 
Hope someone can help but as my topic title says i am having problems in running Orbx PNW Demo.
My issue lies in when i run FTX Central so as to apply North America scenery and i get a pop up with the message reading that my Access to my terrain.cfg file has denied.
And therefore i can't complete the installation of the demo
I'm running on Windows7 64bit, FSX Accelleration.
Any ideas please to sort this out?

Hi there,

 

it sounds like a file access permission issue which could be either caused by the file's security settings or some overly protective antivirus app. First thing to try is to navigate to the terrain.cfg file in the main FSX folder, right-click on it, and under Properties > General make sure that the "read only" checkbox is unchecked, and under > Security that you have "Full control" as both user and administrator.

 

In addition, you can start FTX Central by right-clicking on its icon and selecting Run as Administrator. 

 

If none of the above works try temporarily deactivating any antivirus app you may be running.
