If I remember rightly Orbx Grass does Not work with DX10. If that is correct then you must disable it in your FSX Options menu.

You're welcome.

Again, this may or may not be the actual problem. I just remember reading somewhere that the "grass doesn't work with DX10" or something to that effect.

The vegetation used at EGFF is not DX10 compatible. Please disable it using the airport control panel to avoid the squares.

Thanks Matt,

i deactivated Grass in EGFF options and so everything is fine. I do not want to switch back to dx9 cause dx 10 gives me much more smoothness.

Darn. I was concerned that DX10 was the issue. Well - it gives me much better performance in FSX, so I guess I can live without the grass!
