Nitr0x21
Hi I just bought AU SP4 Download but SFX don't start any more after successful installation. FSX Splash Screen apears for a while and then just closes without any error message, FSX startmenu don't come up and fsx.exe is gone from Taskmanager. NWP and England where already installed prior to AU and i have no problems with those great sceneries. What can i do ? thanks SFX on W7x64 FSS0202787
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, have you tried installing the latest Orbx Libraries package from our support site? You should do that anyway, especially after installing an older Orbx region like AU, as it may contain some outdated versions of our configuration files. Nitr0x21
Hi Holger thanks, i did that already but this don't solved the problem. I just found out minutes ago that it's all about the FXAA Tool. https://www.assembla.com/spaces/fxaa-pp-inject/documents FXAA disabled, then FSX starts sucesfully with AU installed and then turn back on FXAA again solved the problem ! best Andi
Holger Sandmann
Hi Andi, I see. In that case we can mark this thread as resolved since it's not an issue with our products, correct? Cheers, Holger
Nitr0x21
yes please mark it as resolved. As for who's fault it is is hard to say because i had this problem only with AU. NWP and England don't had this problems. Maybe it's worth to pin somewhere that if someone have problems with start FSX after AU installation to try disable external incection Tools like FXAA or ENBMod then start FSX and after successful start the Tool can be enabled again.
