mf6480
I have just installed my new Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 graphics card but all my PC games have now become completely unplayable. They are running as if their in slow motion. In FSX I am getting 50fps according to the game but it doesn't look like 50fps to me, more like 0.5fps. Everything was fine before I installed the graphics card yesterday so i'm assuming this is somehow the cause of the problem. I have added a video below so you can see what I mean. Has anyone else had this problem and were you able to find out whats causing it? Wolter van der Spoel
Did you delete all traces of the old card before installing the new one in hardware ? also did you uninstall the vidcard drivers as well ? in case of best is to delete your fsX.cfg as well as that needs to be rebuild for the new vidcard
ramonb
From your OP, "all my PC games have now become completely unplayable" Adding to what Wolter wrote. - Run a registry cleaner program. - Run dxdiag, you might need to fix or update your DirectX setup. - Problems have been reported (including myself) with latest nVidia drivers. I replaced a GTX560 with a GTX 660TI and had to rollback the driver version. I tried two of their latest WHQL drivers and both messed up other apps I have that use Direct Draw and OpenGL. So I went back to version 306.97 and all is well. Hope this adds to Wolter's help. Cheers.
