petejohno
I will be starting to travel frequently and will need my FTX fix for those long flights across AUS. I need advice on what is the best to use with a laptop whilst travelling - a joystick (small) or gamepad maybe ? Obviously it will have to be compact and hopefully have a throttle and most common functions. I have tried the mouse, but just cant get the gist of it. Any suggestions? Penzoil3
I use a Gravis gamepad with 2 mini joysticks for traveling with the laptop. I use the second joystick for rudders. With ten buttons, I can assign flaps mixture, prop, trim, brakes and gear to the gamepad. Alas, I have to use the keyboard for the throttle.
