fltsimguy
Looks like forestry to me. Woodlots or land designated for harvesting, different textures are different species, or ages of species, I notice that some are fresh clear cuts. stevehowe
Thanks Bryan wondered what it might be. I've covered most of the UK by road, only a little by GA. steve-
Holger Sandmann
Hi guys, actually, it's not forestry. When you zoom in you'll notice that there are no trees or their shadows. Instead these areas are "raised" bogs (moors) that are being harvested for peat moss. See http://www.search.se...0&resource=3488 and http://www.newleafpr...peat-issue.aspx Cheers, Holger
fltsimguy
Ah...my guess was wrong! This make more sense. Are there any trees left in England.. that can be harvested?
