Bandit
I am starting to take a serious look at getting my PPL. As YSBK is my local airfield can any members recommend a good flying school?

Graham Eccleston
I learnt with Basair at YSBK. I found them very good and they have a good reputation. They mainly use Tecnams, very small but fun to fly.
Handy
I've been a member of Schofields FC for 20 years. In that time have completed PPL, Command Instrument (SE), aeros, tail wheel, constant speed prop, retracts. They have excellent instructors, well maintained fleet inc. Cessna, Warrior, etc. New clubhouse provides great facilities. Biggest benefit is a friendly club atmosphere. Fly-aways and club competitions are great fun. flyguy737
I got my GFPT at Hoxton Park but I finished of at Chieftian Aviation at Bankstown also Illawarra are good. Learning at YSBK is good to get the GAAP procedures correct
Hugh Johnston
I'd go for Schofields. I learnt to fly up on the central coast but when I have had to deal with schools in Sydney they were the best. The others are way too crowded. To commercial for my liking. Cheers Hugh
