John Venema
He's standing on an FSX-Acceleration ladder, so if you don't have Acceleration installed, that might be the cause. Sorry about that, sometimes we forget to create scenery for the common denominator, doh!
martinc
Hi John Thanks for that, funny thing is i'm running acceleration. I might have to look a bit deeper and see if everythings kosher with my setup.. Ta Martin C
martinc
Problem fixed, sort of. Had to push the autogen and scenery sliders into dense/extremely dense and the ladder appeared....Damn, i need some new hardware...... Cheers MC
macca22au
I have Acceleration yet every now and then one of the GA Traffic aircraft floats well above the ground. Very impressive and fun to taxi under. I assumed that because Lilydale has been made to follow the dips and humps rather than the trad. FSX flat strip, that in fact these planes are aligning to the old surface level. I am sorry, but with Matrox any screenshot comes out as a tiny panorama which I doubt would help you. I will try and photograph the phenomena if you allow a small JPG.
Nils
Problem fixed, sort of. Had to push the autogen and scenery sliders into dense/extremely dense and the ladder appeared....Damn, i need some new hardware...... Cheers MC Lol thanks! I have the same problem and i was already angry, because i have XPack installed. That's something i wouldn't have thought of. To resolve the elevation issues, i made a flatten, because i don't have a 10m Mesh for Australia and i don't want to change my settings only because of one airport. John Venema
Changing your mesh to 10m in FSX for the whole world does not affect performance at all, and solves a lot of issues to be honest. I've left my mesh setting at 10m since I first installed the FSX beta.
