Jarrad Marshall
G'day Darryl, Are you able to post a screenshot of how this looks on your system for us? If you haven't done this before, instructions can be found here: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/38447-how-to-post-a-screenshot-on-the-orbx-forums/ Cheers, Jarrad

utley
Has anyone come back to this?
utley
Since this one seems to still be open but inactive, Ill get the ball rolling again. Lights are on, but extremely dim. This is in DX9. All other runway lights from other airports are bright.
Jarrad Marshall
G'day Darryl & Utley, My apologies - this topic totally slipped my mind, sorry I haven't got back to you both. In regards to your lighting, first things first, I would suggest two preliminary measures to try: 1. Switch off any ENB shaders (shift-F12) - I notice that most ENB mods don't work particularly well at night, and can often reduce night effects. 2. Install the files described and attached in this topic here - these files were omitted in the RTM (my mistake) and may be the cause of your issue. Let me know how you go. Cheers, Jarrad
utley
I dont use any ENB series modifications. I see runway lights now, and they work. Honestly though, I think they are way overdone, IMHO. Which file do I delete for the parking lot lights? They look more realistic before this fix, now they just look funny...
Jarrad Marshall
Hi again, Use your FTX Lights tweaker in FTX Central to tweak the effects to something that suits you. Cheers, Jarrad
utley
Dont know what the deal is here now, but they look exactly the same. I get an error FTX Lights stopped working when I try to set the size. They are the same size, but they are shaped differently now.
Jarrad Marshall
G'day again, Looks like you may have only changed the "select halo style" - did you change light size too? Cheers
utley
Yes I did, you can tell on the last screenshot, which is the style I chose...the blue starburst. Well, the taxiway markers and the hangar floodlights changed, The runway lights didnt change, the parking lot flood lamps didnt change, the diameter of the lighting effect hasnt changed, but I tried to select the smallest orb size. Every time I try to change it, it says options saved, then FTX Lights just crashes. Jarrad Marshall
That's quite odd indeed. I've attached a zip of the exact fx files currently residing in my folder (see attached screenshots for effect), make back-ups of your versions and replace with these. Cheers, Jarrad KJAC FX.zip
utley
That works a lot better! Now, should I open a separate ticket for my FTX Lights crashing? Or can I keep this existing topic open to resolve that?
