pilottj Posted July 13, 2012 Share Posted July 13, 2012 Hey guys I had some RV psd layers laying around from previous schemes, I whipped up this simple little scheme. I liked the colors, sort of a dark 'saftey' orange with a black stripe. As much as I like working with the bare metal, I think the white always looks good on the RV for some reason. I think it was Danny's spec/bump file work that really make it 'shine' just right. Anyway I'll get back to a few more Taifun paints after this one and will get it uploaded soon. I have to say of all the planes to paint so far, this RV really is one of the most fun to paint for me. It's boxy shape lends itself well to such a wide variety of schemes, from quasi military to artdeco/stream liner to bare metal, to retro GA to modern GA to flat out abstract stuff and everything in between.
