alank
Would someone running FTX Blue on a Vista 64 system be kind enough to post their version of Launceston CBD as shown below? Picture taken looking North from 1000 feet approx. I am concerned that I may have run foul of the dreaded UAC problem. Thanks. alank FSS0009298 Blue/Gold/YMML

alank
Hi Ja50n01 I'm new to all this as well as you can see from the botched up post before this one! Perhaps we could set up a mutual clueless techie society together... Mate, all I would like if you can manage it, is a screen shot similar to the one in my initial post. If you aren't sure where Launceston is let me know and I'll try and help out. Thanks for your interest. alank
John Venema
That shot looks 100% ok to me. There is no Lonny CBD in AU BLUE, as we missed it in the landclass editing. It's been mentioned a few times and we have it on the cards to fix for BLUE SP2.
Ja50n01
Hi Alank I dont know if you have your answer yet, but i will still gladly help. I have flown that area and it all looked good to me. but Sp2 was mentioned in this post so hopefully it will be sorted. This forum is very helpful, I have had so much help so keep asking away Cheers Jason
alank
John - thanks for the response in grassroots language - your original reply about polygons and suchlike went straight over my head sorry to say - I now understand the situation fully and will get on with some serious "low and slow" stuff - the Orbx scenery has been worth waiting 25 years for! In passing, you were threatening to buy a Mac Pro for the office team a few weeks back - did that ever happen and if so what sort of results are you getting? Would love to hear! Jason - many thanks for your continued support - as you will note, John has managed to penetrate my thick skull and resolve my groundless fears completely - happy flying! alank
