Bandit
Took a dawn flight from Queenstown (NZQN) past Cardrona to Cromwell (NZCW) then up the valley Wanaka (NZWF) a trip of just over 44 nautical miles. Over Cardrona Sunrise coming towards Cromwell Approaching Lake Dunstan. Cromwell lies on the western side of the lake. On final for runway 18 at Cromwell (grass strip) The farmer has come out to meet us in the trusty tractor Taxiing to depart - Watch out for the Sheep! Deaprting Cromwell On final for runway 29 at Wanaka. A little bit high on the approach but we managed to stop in time (just!)

simulatorflyer
Great shots. Really like the Google map; makes it easy to "copy" the flight and have a go myself.
Bandit
Great shots. Really like the Google map; makes it easy to "copy" the flight and have a go myself. Glad it helps Frank - In that case in future I will endeavour to include a Google map whenever I post shots from a trip.
